2021 ALGIM Conference Programme

The 2021 programme provides various opportunities for you such as networking with local government colleagues in the various breaks, round table discussions, case study presentations, panel discussions, site visits, welcome and awards evenings and many opportunities to discuss your ideas and see the latest offerings from our 50+ vendors exhibiting. 


Day 1 Monday 22 November 2021

8am Registration and Networking opens, programme commencing at 9.30am

Morning

  • Opening Keynote: Sir Ian Taylor, Animation Research
  • 5 streams running : 10 local government case studies
    (2 LG case studies presented in each stream : ICT, GIS, IRM, Web & Digital and CX)

Afternoon

  • 5 streams running: 15 local government case studies
    (3 LG case studies presented in each stream : ICT, GIS, IRM, Web & Digital and CX)
  • Closing keynote: Jacqui Maguire 
  • ALGIM AGM

Evening

  • Welcome Dinner, Quiz Evening and Networking


Day 2 Tuesday 23 November 2021

8am Registration and Networking opens, programme commencing at 8.45am

Morning

  • Opening Keynote: Associate Professor Catherine Ball, ANU
    Associate Professor Catherine Ball, ANU appears by arrangement with Saxton Speakers Bureau
  • 5 streams running – 10 sessions; a  mix of presentations and interaction sessions  
    (2 sessions per stream : ICT, GIS, IRM, Web & Digital and CX)
  • 5 vendor case study presentations

Afternoon

  • 5 streams running: 10 sessions, a mix of presentations and interaction sessions 
    (Focus of each stream : Thought leadership, Practical, Interaction, Vendor, Site visit)
  • Plus optional sits visits

  • Networking and Awards Dinner


Day 3 Wednesday 24 November 2021
