Overview of the Programme

  • The LG Cybersecurity Programme: Tony Krzyzewski
    (Director SAM for Compliance)

This session will provide an overview of the programme and how local authorities can benefit from joining the programme. This is pertinent given the recent cybersecurity attacks.

  • Respond and Recover from incidents: National Cyber Security Centre

Who do you call when you’ve got an incident and what support can you expect.

  • Update on New Zealand's cyber threat landscape: Andrew Lee
(Senior Engagement & Partnerships Advisor, CERT NZ)

Hear the latest insights into New Zealand's cybersecurity landscape as reported by CERT NZ's latest quarterly report. Andrew will discuss the trends observed during that period and provide a preview into the next set of critical controls for 2021.

Join us in these topical discussions. We have allowed plenty of Q & A time.

  • Awarding ‘The Most Improved’ in the ALGIM LG Cybersecurity programme.

We recognise and award the high achievers of the councils that participate in this programme.
