The International Standards Orgnsation (ISO) has national bodies that manage and regulate the development and application of ISO standards. Standards New Zealand is such controlling body in New Zealand, and they work with various Specialist Groups (SC), and Technical Committees (TC) for specific disciplines. The ISO section that oversees the development and application of records management standards is TC46/SC11. The New Zealand International Review Group (IRG) is the committee commissioned by Standards New Zealand to develop, review, vote, and approve internally aligned records management standards used in New Zealand. This webinar discusses the role IRG plays in ISO/TC46/SC11 and within New Zealand.
