For a number of years the Waikato Regional Council has suffered from cramped and diverse office spaces and had been planning to rehome to premises more fit for purpose. Those plans finally came to fruition earlier this year. This is an overview of the ICT planning, implementation and outcomes for that project.


About the Presenter:


Billy Michels
ICT Team Leader, Waikato Regional Council 


Billy has been working in IT for more than 30 years, the last 25 working in Local Government, leading teams in IM, Spatial, Service Desk and ICT.
He has also been involved with ALGIM for 20 years and is the current President.
 
While his career has been digital his personal interests are more analogue, with interests in classic cars and film photography.
