There is a major tech skills shortage across local government in NZ, and it's a problem that can't easily be solved by buying-in skills. ALGIM has determined that the best way to address these major tech challenges is to cross-skill and upskill the ICT people local government already has and potentially do so at scale.

ALGIM is looking at an innovative proposal from O’Reillys to support lifting local government IT competency by providing access to the best tool/platform to educate and train employees at a national level.

Come and see what this platform is all about so that we can inform the ALGIM Board as to your feedback.

ALGIM wants to scale the cost across the sector so that it is available at a minimal cost but will be provided to the 1,400 approx. ICT staff working in Councils.
