At the heart of ALGIM is our commitment to supporting the people who make local government better.

All 78 councils across Aotearoa New Zealand are ALGIM members, from Auckland to the Chatham Islands. We’re also growing our membership with Council-Controlled Organisations, recognising the important role they play in delivering services and outcomes for local communities.

Our membership model is simple. Councils pay one membership fee, and everyone across the organisation can access ALGIM’s member benefits. This brings together people working across ICT, digital, data, customer experience, communications, information management, transformation and more.
