This policy is to let you know when we collect personal information and what we do with it.  For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the terms “Services” and “ALGIM Website” have the meaning given to them in the ALGIM Terms of Use.

We may collect and hold personal information about you (such as your name and contact details) when you use the Services, contact us or sign up to attend one of our events or receive our newsletter.

Your personal information will be stored by us (and our third party suppliers) to provide you with, and improve, the Services and ALGIM Website, to communicate with users of the Services and for our internal business purposes.  We may also send you newsletters and invitations to events by email.  Any such emails will contain an unsubscribe facility, enabling you to opt-out of such messages at any time.

If you sign up to attend one of our events, your name, local government organisation and job title may be included on a list of attendees made available to registered attendees and exhibitors on request.

When you visit the ALGIM Website, we may collect user information about your visit to help us analyse usage of, and improve, the ALGIM Website.  This includes users’ IP addresses, search terms entered, pages accessed, browsers used and other technical information.

The ALGIM Website generates cookies for users who are signed in to use the Services.  You can change the settings on your browser to delete any cookies.  However, if you do not accept cookies the Services will not function properly.
