About Regional Meetings

In 2025, we visited five regions and connected with over 50% of councils.

In 2026, we’re expanding to 12 regions, aiming to connect with 80% of councils and CCOs. To make these meetings more accessible, we’re adding more locations, and more dates.

How do I register?

Find your region in the table above and click Register. You will be directed to the event page to sign in with your ALGIM credentials and complete your booking.

Is there a cost to attend?

No. These meetings are free for all local government and council-controlled organisation (CCO) staff to ensure accessible networking and learning for the whole sector.

Who can attend?

These regional meetings are exclusive to local government and CCO staff.

Can I attend a meeting in a different region?

Yes. While we encourage attending your local meeting, you are welcome to register for any location or date that suits your schedule.

What is the parking situation?

Parking varies by venue. Specific parking instructions and nearby options are listed under the "Venue & Parking" section on each region’s registration page.

Is the event accessible?

Yes, all venues will be wheelchair accessible. Please note any specific requirements (e.g., hearing loops) in the "Special Requirements" field when registering.

Is catering provided?

Yes. All meetings include a catered morning tea and networking lunch. Please specify any dietary requirements in your registration form.
