After we visited 5 regions and had over 50% of councils attend a regional meeting, we are now planning what 2026 looks like. To make regional meetings more accessible, we are looking at more locations, more dates and content/speakers relevant to your region.
These free, catered events are designed exclusively for local council staff, offering a chance to connect, share ideas, and stay up to date with local government trends through case studies, demos, and discussions.
If you think we should visit your region or have a topic you want to discuss, please let us know.

In 2026, we’re expanding—more regions, more councils, and more opportunities for vendors to connect, learn, and lead alongside local government. We’re looking for vendors interested in co-sponsoring our 2026 Regional Meetings.
These will run from March to September and as a co-sponsor, you’ll have one-hour to run a workshop, presentation, or interactive session, plus plenty of time to network before, during, and after. It’s a great way to connect with attendees, share your expertise, and start conversations that continue after the meeting.
We’re happy to share tips on how to make the most of your time — just ask.
Co-sponsorship is tiered: Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North, Hamilton, and Tauranga are $2,500 each, while other regions are $2,000 each.
As a bonus, co-sponsors will jointly be give one attendee a “Golden Ticket,” enabling them to attend the ALGIM Conference 2026. If you’re interested, please get in touch to express your interest.
