About Talk It Up 2026

In 2026, Talk It Up is being held in the Mighty Manawatū which we are stoked about. We are proud to offer three Community Voices Scholarships to attend the 2026 Talk It Up celebrating those that are committed to improving how organisations engage with communities.

Who Can Apply & What's Included

These scholarships are designed for local government professionals working in:

  • Communications
  • Community engagement
  • Policy
  • Community strategy
  • Project or programme management


Each scholarship recipient will get one and a half days of high energy learning, including workshops with two dynamic leaders in community engagement.

If you are or know someone who is:

  • Actively involved in community or stakeholder engagement
  • Wants to learn from others and share their own experiences
  • Keen to apply new thinking back into their organisation or community

Take a couple minutes and apply for a scholarship using the link below. Applications close 5pm Friday, 27th February 2026 and successful applicants will be notified before 5pm Friday, 6th March 2026.
