There is a lot of great work going on in central and local government, and ALGIM is happy to explore opportunities for linking up this work to ensure benefit for both local government organisations and central government agencies. We are also happy to accept membership applications from central government agencies.

ALGIM has a significant involvement with central government, including:

• Sitting on all of government advisory groups
• Carrying out linked data trials and workshops with Ministry for the Environment
• Having presenters and attendees from LINZ, Stats NZ, Archives NZ at our Annual Conference
