Dan is currently the Executive Director, Strategy & Risk for CyberCX New Zealand. Prior to joining CyberCX Dan was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Westpac. Dan previously worked for the GCSB in Wellington as the Acting Assistant Director for Cybersecurity and manager of the National Cyber Security Centre Cyber Threat Response team, during which time he worked on significant cybersecurity incidents across government and industry as well representing New Zealand at international forums. Dan has also worked in cybersecurity and technology in government and for global companies in Europe, Australia and the US and is a member of Institute of Directors.
