Councils rely on document workflows every day — from approvals and records to planning, finance, HR and citizen services.

This session will explore how local government teams can reduce manual admin, improve staff access to document tools, and modernise PDF, eSign and workflow processes in a practical, secure and cost-effective way.

Drawing on public sector insights and council examples, Nitro will share how smarter document workflows can help councils improve productivity and deliver better service outcomes.

    About the Presenters:

    Chris Ward

Enterprise Account Executive for Public Sector

    Nitro

Chris Ward is an Enterprise Account Executive for Public Sector at Nitro, focused on supporting local councils across Australia and New Zealand.

He works closely with council teams to help address common document workflow challenges across areas such as approvals, records, planning, procurement, finance, HR and citizen services. His work with councils is centred on improving access to PDF and eSign tools, reducing manual document processes, and helping teams deliver more efficient, secure and cost-effective services.

Chris brings a practical understanding of the pressures councils face, including limited resources, legacy systems, compliance requirements and the need to modernise service delivery without adding unnecessary complexity.

In this session, Deeksha will share insights from council conversations and real-world examples of how local government teams are modernising document workflows without adding unnecessary complexity.
