Three Australian Councils have come together to collaborate on an ERP solution. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from all three as to how they have undertaken the project, lessons learnt and what has been achieved.
The Enterprise Resource Planning Collaboration project aims to implement a modern ERP ‘best fit’ solution that is integrated, compliant, easy to use, and hard not to. Councils will operate on the same core platform with similar systems and processes that provide future opportunities to share services. The service areas in scope are: Finance, procurement, property and revenue, regulatory functions, payroll/HR, Customer Request Management (CRM), animals and infringements. These systems use web-based technologies and will leverage existing investment in the Microsoft 365 technology stack of three rural councils. This is a Rural Councils Transformation Program (RCTP) funded project, one of two concurrent projects the three Councils are implementing together. The second also includes West Wimmera Shire Council. M365 - Managing Records Better – together, using SharePoint as a records management system to support the cloud storage requirements of this ERP project.
