As councils across New Zealand prepare for sector reform and changing resident expectations, they are also facing the challenge of competing for skilled employees in a tight labor market. As a result, it's essential to not only design services that meet the needs of residents but also to create an internal culture that attracts and retains skilled employees. By embracing a human-centered  design approach both externally and internally, councils can create a more desirable workplace and deliver services that are more efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of their residents.

ALGIM, in partnership with Clare Swallow of Mulberry St, is excited to provide an overview of human-centered design and its importance for local council service delivery.

This webinar will cover:

  • An introduction to human-centered design
  • Overview of key human-centered design principles and tools
  • Examples of human-centered design in local council service delivery; the lessons and the successes
  • How to get started and the common trip hazards

About Mulberry Street:

Mulberry St was born as a place to help purpose led kiwi companies take their businesses to the world.

At Mulberry St we fundamentally believe 'experience is the new brand' and an experience is something we feel. As such, we see the future of work as a connected, human-centered, purpose led one. If we continue to develop products, services, and the way in which we market and sell them, in isolation to the people they affect we will continue to create waste in all forms.

By understanding what connects and motivates people we are much more likely to build successful companies around our people and our customers. This is what the world needs and your customers expect.

Now more than ever.
