Humans are hardwired to avoid thinking about death. Indeed we are "programmed" to survive thus making end of life planning one of the most challenging areas of businesses to work in. But that's no excuse for businesses to ignore that every day, in every way, death is impacting their business. Death erodes databases and negatively impacts service efficiencies. For Council’s the problem is far reaching. It's not just rates demands and parking tickets. Death affects your libraries, your swimming pools, your dog registration and even your cemeteries. Clawing back time trying to make good what has been missed, is flawed. Join us for a light-hearted discussion and learn how councils can transform every business unit's efficiencies in just minutes a day.
About the Presenters:
Sue Skeet
CEO NoticeMATCH
Sue is the founder and CEO of NoticeMATCH. She comes from a background in communications and marketing.
She was a senior consultant for a leading PR firm in Christchurch, and latterly the Communications Manager for Major Projects at the CCC, before deciding that getting great ideas implemented in good time requires less red tape and a more entrepreneurial approach.
She has successfully transformed death notification in NZ, created world leading software, and enabled organisations to easily access and effectively use death data, including the death register. Sue strongly believes that "speaking for the dead" is important and NoticeMATCH does that. She provides a proactive solution to the growing issue of data decay and erosion of business efficacy.
