    Justine Resta is an experienced program manager and transformation leader with over a decade of experience in project leadership and 25 years working within the local government sector. As the current president of ALGIM Australia, Justine brings extensive expertise in implementing governance, data management, employee & customer experience frameworks, with a passion for building partnerships and cross-collaboration initiatives across the local government sector.

    Michael Robinson is a national leader in public sector procurement, probity, and governance. As Managing Director of Local Government Contracts Australia (LGCA), he oversees both consulting and aggregated procurement services, integrating the operations of SHOP Consulting—founded by Michael in 2022. With over 20 years’ experience across government and industry, Michael has led high-risk, high-value procurement projects and built frameworks that stand up to audit and public scrutiny. He is a former General Manager of Local Government Procurement (LGP), where he delivered major reforms and strengthened governance as Company Secretary. Michael is a certified Probity Advisor, CIPS trainer, and recognised thought leader in local government procurement. His career includes award-winning work at Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and the establishment of collaborative alliances across NSW. He is a GAICD graduate, IACCM Fellow, and a Justice of the Peace in NSW. At LGCA, Michael is committed to supporting councils with ethical, practical solutions that reduce red tape, enable local participation, and improve community outcomes.
