Programme

ALGIM's Spring Conference is packed full of opportunities you won't find at any other event. 

Tailored just for local government, we are flying in speakers from councils in Canada and Australia that have innovated on the way they engage with their communities and provide an improved customer experience.

We've reached out to councils around the country to bring their best case studies to present, meaning we have over 15 council case studies across the two days.

There are more opportunities than ever before for you to discuss hot topics in your professions, take part in interactive workshops, join in panel discussions with the experts, and just network with your peers.

Arrive early on Sunday 9 September, and we have a workshop on how to create high-performing teams, something that is crucial for local government with the ever growing push for efficiency and continuous improvement. Followed by a fun team activity, and a welcome dinner.*

To top it off, we have site visits to a number of amazing Auckland organisations, our awards programme, and a range of exhibitors from home and abroad.

All of this is before we get to our high-profile thought leaders, including New Zealand's own AI leader Soul Machines, PwC on intelligent automation, and Agile experts Nomad8 on creating cross-functional teams.

    Transport 

    Please allow at least 1.5 hours to travel to and from Auckland Airport to the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

    The Skybus operates every 10 minutes and will drop you off on Queen Street within 5 minutes walk of Crowne Plaza Hotel. Please see the Skybus Website for pricing options.

    Shuttles and Taxis are also available to you outside the Domestic Terminal at Auckland Airport. We encourage you to research the costs of these options.
